Tacos Del Koshy: Chef Mario Peralta opens up a Tijuana taquería
The crispy adobada trompo has officially started spinning at Tacos Del Koshy, Chef Mario Peralta’s new Tijuana taquería in honor of his father’s nickname. Located on Avenida Colombia in La Cacho neighborhood, Peralta’s new taco spot offers the city’s classics like asada, adobada, suadero, tripa, cabeza, lengua, birria, and rounding out with carnitas. The menu also offers other creative tacos like the Taco Del Koshy with crispy suadero, pig skins, beans, and guacamole. There is also the Taco Exotico with pork belly, fried cheese, and special salsas. In the future, Chef Mario Peralta plans on experimenting and adding new menu items like Sunday barbacoa. Fresh pillowy tortillas cradle the fillings while the bright salsas blanket the tacos.
The brushstrokes of Alonso Delgadillo, a border artist from Tijuana, embellish the walls of Tacos Del Koshy like a true taquería.
