Spring and the desire to travel are here! Given the limited ability to move around, Valle de Guadalupe has been our quick-fix escape, for the last couple of months.

Oeno Wine Lodge is nestled in a rocky hillside of Valle de Guadalupe, offering a truly immersive experience of Baja’s Wine Country terroir. The beautiful and majestic boulders are the perfect backdrop for your stay at Oeno Wine Lodge. We had the opportunity to stay at one of the cabañas (cabins) that take on Scandinavian-inspired architectural details. With health and safety on everyone’s minds, it was a pleasurable experience from check-in to check-out. The accommodations were exceptionally sanitized and spaced perfectly apart from other cabins, offering peace of mind. The Cabaña Jr. Doble (Double Jr. Cabin) included two connected rooms that mirrored each other with Queen sized beds. In the middle, a spacious living area anchored by a terrace to enjoy the Valle evenings with a fireplace.

There are different cabin and room types throughout the resort, from wood-filled aldeas to warm-toned rock boulders as your Valle haven. The resort is also outfitted with a restaurant, i-pétra which dishes out Valle de Guadalupe-centric cuisine. If your visit is just a quick getaway, the resort exceptionally facilitates to experience wine country.

It’s a treat to wake up to the Valle de Guadalupe sunrise, and we try (emphasis on the try!) to wake up and watch them on each visit. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the cabin’s bedroom will make it easy to catch a glimpse of the first sunrays of Mexico’s countryside.
