A Look Inside The New G. Salinas Enoteca
A little peep inside of Gilberto Salinas' newly opened second shop. This new intimate space sets the tone for a relaxed time spent tasting the region's liquid offerings. This is your chance to experience the local wines and beers, as well as a few different spirits, in the city of Tijuana. Here at Life & Food we are suckers for amazing design, and even more so when the addition of a great bottle of wine is involved. Architect Manuel Martinez, known for his work at Misión 19, Bar 20, Food Garden's current location, as well as the new location which will be opening in Plaza Rio, designed this gorgeous space. Neutral tones, distressed wood, geometric tiles, and warm lighting pull you into this inviting spot. It is set up to function as a wine bar/retail space. Cold cases are soon to display regional cheeses, to pair along with your ideal glass of wine. There are also talks of future meals, being prepared by local chefs to unfold on the dreamy dining table. Another event to look forward to, will be the wine tastings that feature the wine makers themselves pouring and filling you with knowledge of their glorious wines, as you simply sit back, relax, and drink them in. Stop by and stay awhile, or grab one of your favorite bottles to take to dinner or your next gathering.
