Valle de Guadalupe: Rancho Malagón Bed and Breakfast

There comes a time when we all become in search of some serenity and relaxation. Just a moment to unplug from the daily hustle and bustle, take deep breaths, and be one with nature and our surroundings. Our stay at Rancho Malagon fulfilled more than that, and even more so, we were able to accomplish it with our two littles in tow. Some may think we are crazy for deeming "relaxation" and having two kids with us under the age of five, but our entire experience at the Rancho Malagon Bed & Breakfast was so dreamy. We checked in, met the incredibly nice staff, and walked around the property a bit. The weather was warm, but the breeze that came through the corridors, was just enough to lift the Bougainvillea up into the air almost creating confetti. Giovanni had the time of his life treating it just as that, and could have spun around and played with the fallen flowers for hours. I loved that the property had a beautiful open grassy area next to their tasting room for the kids to frolic freely, or hey even the adults are free to do so, especially after some wine.

The rooms share a communal kitchen, outdoor dining patio, and even a little living area with a tv. It was nice to come inside after the sun had set, turn on the patio bistro lights, and just chat about our day while opening a bottle of wine. Breakfast is included in the price of your stay, and quite honestly I kind of wanted to take the cook home with us to prepare the meal that we were served every day of the week. Fresh eggs & chorizo, flour and corn tortillas, plates piled high with fresh fruit, and one of my favorite parts, the molcajete filled with just made salsa verde. I mean, how can you not relish in moments such as these? Sipping your morning coffee while gazing out to the property's vineyards. I need that more often in my life!

We had not even been there for a full day, and I was already talking to Antonio about plans to return. This is the perfect destination in Valle de Guadalupe for both a family vacay away, as well as a little getaway for just you and your loved one.

Until we meet again Rancho Malagon!
