First Look: The new Cereus Bar in Tijuana is a stone's throw away from the US/MX border

One of Tijuana’s oldest tourist districts is buzzing once again with urban buildings, and spaces that bring a new meaning to cross-border life. Estación Federal, in Tijuana’s historic Colonia Federal, is home to an art forward collective community of live and work spaces, retail shops, and local favorite— Nativo coffee shop.

A short 10-15 minute walk puts you steps away from a day, or night of imbibing in specialty cocktails, cold local craft beers, and regional Baja wines, at the new Cereus Bar inside of the Estación Federal complex. Mariel Cuervo and Miguel Marshall, the creative entrepreneur duo, are spearheading this new project alongside other Centro Ventures endeavors that look into ‘generating the most value to emerging neighborhoods’.

For their much awaited return to the streets of Tijuana, Kokopelli has brought their carreta back to life. Kokopelli’s famed street grilled seafood creations will pair perfectly with your visit, which is located adjacent to Cereus Bar. When that craving for tacos suddenly overcomes you, look no further.

Cereus Bar will officially launch their beverage program with a soft opening starting on Thursday, January 31. The Spring and Summer Baja evenings that are quickly approaching, have met their match.
