Culinary Stars Will Shine in Baja's Wine Country for the Valle Wine & Food Festival


Dominique Crenn, Nancy Silverton, Ricardo Zarate, Tim Hollingsworth among other icons of the food and wine scene will cook at this year's First Annual Valle Wine & Food Festival on Sunday, October 22nd in Valle de Guadalupe. The star chefs are joined by local talents like Jair Tellez, Solange Muris, Martin San Roman, Roberto Alcocer, Sheyla Alvarado, David Castro Hussong, Mario Peralta and more.

The family-friendly event is hosted by Chef Javier Plascencia, Nancy Silverton and Carolynn Carreño at Plascencia's outdoor-campestre restaurant Finca Altozano.

The day-into-night event will pour local wines (available for purchase), feature local musicians (chefs will DJ too!), book signings, live auctions and activities for children.

Valle Food & Wine Festival has an Early Bird deal for $75 US dlls (until Oct 16), which gets you entry, access to entertainment, two free drink tickets (one for wine and one for beer or non-alcoholic bev). Now, if you want to roll in the Valle in VIP style, you can choose to go all out for the evening and grab the VIP passes ($350 / limited quantity) which will get you general admission, VIP lounge access, tray-passed bites, goodie bag, access to the Animalón after party and more.

The event will donate all proceeds to Fundación Campesinos, an organization founded by Plascencia, Silverton, and Carreño.
